The Cornish Cricket Company is a St Austell based coaching company. We provided high quality coaching and support throughout Cornwall in a variety of settings, from schools to sports clubs. We like to form long lasting partnerships with our schools that allows us to develop sport throughout their school.
Professional values and first class service are at the heart of everything we do. We are passionate about developing people of all ages in Cornwall and helping them reach their potential.
We tailor-make our packages to suit the individual needs for each school and therefore prices will vary depending on what you would like. Some ideas for different packages are in the Packages section of this website.

MEET THE TEAM
Managing Director/Director of Sport
Sean has a wealth of teaching, coaching and mentoring experience. Sean gained this by leading whole school Initial Teacher Training and being Head of P.E at Bodmin College. He was also SSCo for 7 years and the national lead for the England and Wales Cricket Board for their working in schools module. Sean worked with the Association for P.E to produce a quality assurance level 3 qualifications for coaches working in schools. Sean’s goal for coaching is to help anyone that wants to get better.
Director of Sports Development
Gary has been with the company for 7 years and is a Level 3 qualified coach. Gary has been delivering in schools and Cornwall County Cricket coaching since 2009. His expertise and experience coaching in schools and academy settings led to him achieving the Sky Sports Young Coach of the Year 2012 award. Gary has a degree is sports development and uses this knowledge to help build our sporting programmes. Gary’s goal for coaching is to leave every child with a passion for sport.
Director of Coaching
Alex has a wealth of experience working with young people. Alex has worked as a Community Sports Coach for South Shropshire School Sports Partnership, predominantly coaching in primary schools. He has worked as a FESCo and has taught in secondary and further education sectors. Since his move to Cornwall he has worked as a PE teacher and head of house at Callington Community College. Alex’s goal for coaching is to make sport innovative and fun for everyone.
Alex brings experience of working within primary and secondary sectors. Alex has a background of working with children with autism and learning difficulties and has designed specialised programmes within these areas. Alex has a degree in sports development and coaching. Alex’s goal in coaching is to establish a platform where everyone is confident to pursue a future of participating in sport.
